Danish Technological Institute (DTI) employ 847 whereof more than 130 people are working with materials characterization/processing, test, validation, documentation and certification covering a wide variety of materials such as e.g. plastics, metals, ceramics and composites. Hereto comes various characterization techniques and materials synthesis facilities based on state-of-the-art equipment. DTI will contribute with the entire organization and make relevant resources (knowledge, know-how, equipment, etc.) available for the different Fast Tracks.

DTI’s motivation for participating in the present Societal Partnership is to increase our knowledge through problem-solving activities together with the consortium. A number of new materials solutions and services will be developed that can be used in other industrial segments thereby generating growth. DTI expects to implement new and long-lasting materials solutions in industry-relevant problems based on e.g. state-of-the-art PVD equipment, new Sol-Gel processes, additive manufacturing processes, etc. We expect to gain new knowledge, develop new services and to set up pilot production of the developed materials solutions together with the involved core partners.
